The YMCA of North Augusta opens June 6 on East Martintown Road. A 7 Brew drive-thru coffee stand will land at the same spot this late summer.

A 7 Brew spokesperson confirmed the stand arrives "in late summer," according to the North Augusta Star. The pre-fab structure sits at the far end of the YMCA parking lot. City officials gave zoning approval for the outparcel in February, clearing the property for business use and allowing construction to start within the next couple of months.

7 Brew has sprouted throughout the CSRA during the past three years. The company launched its first coffee stand on Washington Road in Augusta, then planted three more locations around Augusta's I-20 to I-520 corridor.

The chain runs a stand in Aiken on Whiskey Road. North Augusta marks the company's sixth CSRA spot.

This facility on East Martintown Road adds a big fitness option to the area. The opening date lands in early June. The coffee stand offers a quick stop for gym members before or after their workouts. Drive-thru service lets customers snag drinks without stepping out of their cars.

Construction on the YMCA building stays on track for the June 6 opening, while the coffee stand installation follows a few months later since the pre-fabricated structure needs minimal on-site work.

Both businesses will serve the growing North Augusta community, and the East Martintown Road location provides easy access from major roads in the area.
