Coach Smart was at the school for about 20 minutes on Tuesday morning, according to WRDW News.
WRDW reports that flight records show that he traveled in a helicopter flying back and forth between Augusta, Jasper, and Athens, Georgia, in the last 24 hours.
As of right now, there is no clear understanding of what the visit was for. The Richmond County School System spokesperson said, "Nothing major was discussed."
