This marks another big score for CSRA players in recent days. A Thomson resident pocketed $10,000 playing Disco Pigs Lucky Coins on Dec. 26.
Christmas Eve brought good fortune to a Grovetown player who walked away with $50,000 in the Powerball drawing. The ticket came from Kroger at 435 Lewiston Road and matched four white-ball numbers plus the Powerball.
Across the state, a Macon resident hit an even bigger payday: $457,808 in the Dec. 24 Fantasy 5 drawing. That winner purchased the ticket via the mobile app.
Winners should sign and print their name on the back of the tickets immediately after buying them. This protects ownership if you win. Prizes up to $600 can be collected at any retailer, any office, or through the mail.
Anything above $601 requires a trip to Georgia Lottery Headquarters in Atlanta, a district office, or mailing it in for payment. Every game generates funds for state education programs.
