Become an Eco Explorer at Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, and discover how experts protect the safety and quality of Augusta's water. This one-and-a-half to two-hour, mostly outdoor experience immerses adults in real environmental science. Slip into waders, collect water samples, and assess the health of the swamp's ecosystem as you analyze water quality firsthand. This day presents an interactive way to learn how vital the work of research scientists is to the sustainability of our local waters.
